Sierra Electric Cooperative, Inc. member’s bill statements and due dates are changing; we are going to be transitioning all billing cycles towards the same billing and due date: Our goal is to have all billing statements on or near the 1st, Due Date on or near the 21st, Bank Drafted on or near the 21st. No action is required of our members for this change, unless you are on the Auto Pay program and you don't expect to have funds available for two payments in October. In that case, you should contact us to cancel or suspend your auto payments before October 2020 to avoid insufficient funds fee.
How do you know what billing cycle you are on?
If your statement date is on or near the 15th, Due Date on or near the 8th and Bank Drafted on or near the 5th, you are in Cycle 1.
If your statement date is on or near the 20th, Due Date on or near the 13th and Bank Drafted on or near the 10th, you are in Cycle 2.
If your statement date is on or near the 31st, Due Date on or near the 21st and Bank Drafted on or near the 18th, you are in Cycle 3.

From November forward, the billing date will be the first business day of the month and the due date/auto pay date will be 20 days later or the next available business date.
*Originally written that the billing date would be October 1st, Due Date October 21st, Bank Drafted October 21st, however due to a conflict with the October 5th Bank Draft Date, we will be moving the billing date to October 6th and changing due date and Bank Draft dates to October 26th. We apologize for the oversight. It should also be noted that although there are two payments due in October - there is only one billing per month, no additional system charges or energy charges are incurred.
